Artistic Showcase

The following pottery, I made in 2009. It’s a very small collection, but then, I didn’t start until September. I also didn’t start out with a great idea of what I wanted. I’d grab a hunk of clay, not even weight it, and sit down at the wheel without a clue as to whether I wanted a cup or a bowl (and that’s all I knew how to make, so there you go). For “first efforts,” it’s good. I was proud of it, way beyond what it probably deserved. Still, it’s functional, and I’ve given it to people that I really like.
