I thought at first that the daughter might be upset that the pink was so pale, but when I emailed them pictures, my client said that her daughter loved the delicacy of them and the swirl in the center of each of her pieces. If the client hadn’t backed out of the sale, I’m sure her daughter would have enjoyed the pieces. Instead, the child’s set was sold at the Knowne World Auction of Pennsic 41 (2012) to help raise money for the Society for Creative Anachronism after a large financial setback.
